About Captain Cameron Cribben

Cameron Cribben has been immersed in the sportfishing industry since the age of 13, starting as a pinhead and working his way up through the ranks. By 19, he earned his captain’s license during his eight-year tenure aboard the American Angler. Over the past decade, Cameron has captained vessels from the Coronado Islands all the way down the Baja Peninsula.
He’s had the privilege of operating some of the most respected sportfishing boats, including the American Angler, Vagabond, San Diego, Endeavor, and Pacific Dawn.  Along the way, Cameron has learned from some of the best in the business—Brian Kiyohara, Sam Patella, Mike Lackey, Ryan Bostian, David Ikeda, and Pat Cavanaugh—whose influence helped shape his approach to both fishing and customer service.
When not running sportfishing trips, Cameron operates his commercial lobster boat during the offseason. Now at the helm of the Mission Belle, he’s excited to bring his years of experience, passion for fishing, and dedication to guest experience to every trip.
